"I am very dissatisfied. My father had a policy for years and then I took it over after he passed. We tried to file several claims on our roof and they were denied each time. And the agent says they do not see where we filed a claim for them to fix our roof. We sold that house and moved an hour away and STILL kept the insurance. When we moved, our insurance was about mid 200s/mo. Today, we owe 521/mo. on just two cars. That much in two years. That's not including our homeowners, also with Statefarm. Every time that we would call and ask why our insurance was increasing every three months, we would get the story of mandatory increases, state wide increases, etc. Today we began shopping around and for the same coverage elsewhere were going to save 200/mo. - In today's economy every penny helps. When we called to cancel the policy, we were hung up on and they wouldn't answer the phones when we tried to call back. It was 10 minutes before 5pm. My insurance bill wasn't due until today and I tried to cancel it TODAY. Now with them hanging up on us, my refund will be prorated. I am NOT okay with this. This is abuse of power. My wife called and she was being gas lighted about how bad the new insurance was going to be. Anytime we would call, it was constant gas lighting. - I get it, you don't want to lose a customer, but this isn't how you keep them. I've had the worst experience with Statefarm. Multiple times we would call and never receive a call back, questions go unanswered. No one cares. The only thing we were ever offered was to take a drivers course to lower our bill by EIGHT dollars. - This class had to be paid for."

Upon returning Covid hit me like a brick to the head and put me down for another week: old people take it harder. After reviewing your record, it appears we simply failed to meet your expectations. Our goal after 40+ years of serving the community is to meet each client’s personal needs and expectations. Yours is the first one-star review received out of over 225 five-star reviews. So, it is obvious we did not meet your expectations. I simply apologize. Your car insurance was cancelled effective the date requested. A pro-rated discount was applied to your account effective the requested date. As a team we have worked to make sure going forward your needs, assuming you ever give us another opportunity, and those of all our other clients’ needs and expectations are meet at the five-star level. "The house insurance was in my mom's name and she passed away with Dementia, I had been her caregiver for the last 4 years paying all the bills. The insurance is paid up till November, mom passed the 1st week of March. Robert Kenimer insurance agent called me the the in late April to inform me that since my mother name was on the policy that they had to reevaluate the policy. Remind you the policy is paid up to November. I feel that they should have waited till the policy was coming due, not 40 days after my mom's passed. Very inconsiderate 😒, sounds like greedy policy here. I will be taking my business elsewhere!"
"Bobby it was sad to hear about your mother. I hope you and your brother, Kenneth, received the card I sent y'all after your mother's passing. I remember her vividly, and she was always friendly to me and the team members. I understand it does feel harsh to contact the survivors so soon after a family member passes. The purpose is to eliminate a problem. As background, several years back a client died, and we did not know about their passing till 7 months later. At that point, the family called to file a claim. Be home had been unoccupied for over 6 months: this caused coverage lapses. Since that time, I have made it a priority to contact the family after a client dies to offset any potential problems. I truly apologize for the manner that we delivered the status: it is obvious we did not explain ourselves to help you make an informed decision. I am sending you a personal email also. Thank you Bobby for your honest feelings."
